What the Ultra series is

The Ultra line includes the AirDrive Forensic Keylogger Ultra and the KeyGrabber Forensic Keylogger Ultra. They inherit every feature of the standard AirDrive and KeyGrabber families, then add advanced acquisition circuitry and a new design to handle the keyboards that defeat ordinary loggers.

The keyboards it's for

• Apple Mac — including the hi-speed aluminum keyboards that need special hardware to capture.
• Keyboards with built-in USB hubs — where extra downstream traffic confuses a standard logger.
• Keyboards with card readers — common on enterprise and point-of-sale hardware.
• Wireless keyboard receivers — the USB dongles that standard models capture only partially.

Standard vs Ultra

For a plain USB keyboard, a standard model is all you need. The Ultra earns its place the moment the target uses Mac hardware, a hub-equipped or card-reader keyboard, or a wireless receiver.

Choosing between them

• Target is a standard USB keyboard → a standard AirDrive or KeyGrabber is enough.
• Target is a Mac, hub, card-reader or wireless keyboard → choose the Ultra.
• Not sure what the target uses → the Ultra is the safe, most-compatible option, since it also covers everything the standard models do.
