I Can't Connect to the AirDrive Wi-Fi. What Should I Check?
The AirDrive hosts an open Wi-Fi network whose name starts with AIR_. Connect to it, then open 192.168.4.1 in a browser to reach the log and settings.
An AirDrive creates its own Wi-Fi access point that you connect to in order to read the log. Here's how to work through connection issues.
1. Find and join the network
The network name (SSID) begins with AIR_... and is, by default, an open network with no password. Connect your phone, tablet or computer and check that the connection stays stable.
If you don't see it, make sure the AirDrive sits firmly in the USB port — try a different port. The name may have been changed, so watch for any new network appearing when you plug it in.
2. Expect your internet to drop
Once connected to the AirDrive, your normal internet connection is broken — the AirDrive has no internet of its own. Some devices notice this and silently switch back to your previous network, so confirm you're still on AIR_....
3. Open the interface
With a stable connection, open a browser (Edge, Chrome, or your system's default) and go to:
192.168.4.1
You should see the AirDrive home page with the log, settings and all options.
If it still fails
Repeat the steps with a different phone, tablet or computer, and try a different location. A faulty device is possible but rare — most issues trace back to a step in the process above.
