My Keyboard Isn't Being Logged at All
Most keyboards run in USB low-speed mode, which our standard devices cover. A minority run in full-speed mode and need a full-speed-capable keylogger instead.
If a keyboard produces no log at all, the usual cause is its USB speed mode.
Low-speed vs full-speed
Our standard devices cover roughly 90% of the market — the keyboards that operate in USB low-speed mode. A smaller share of keyboards run in full-speed mode, and a standard keylogger cannot capture those.
The fix
For a full-speed keyboard you need one of our full-speed-capable models, which are built to handle that mode. If your keyboard isn't logging, this is the first thing to check.
Bottom line
No log usually means a full-speed keyboard on a low-speed device. Switching to a full-speed-capable model resolves it.
